Our client came to us looking to create much needed outdoor living space.  Carved into a steep hillside slope, the client’s existing back yard consisted of a small deck below a large ascending slope, with little opportunity for entertaining and socializing.

The clear solution was to carve out the hillside utilizing a series of retaining walls and terraced patio spaces.  Sweeping arcs of concrete, stone, and tile define separate areas, as well as harmonize with the natural topography.

The end result includes a shaded outdoor living pavilion, sun lounging deck, wading pool, hot tub, outdoor kitchen, and entertaining deck.
