When our client purchased this home, it was generally in it’s originally built condition, with outdated finishes, and a floor plan that was comprised of small chopped up space. The expansive view was capped by low set windows, and blocked by a series of interior walls.
We chose to clear many of the interior walls, make a few small additions, and create new open living spaces on each floor. The revised floor plan creates a living area that flows openly between living spaces, capitalizing on the views whenever possible.
A palette of warm natural woods, monochromatic fixtures, soft paint, and neutral tile colors completes the house.
