Our clients purchased a second home in beachside Ventura as a weekend retreat. The original house was lacking in both space and style, with major living spaces opening on to a small side yard area. By adding some additional square footage and repositioning key living spaces, we were able to create a large living space that opens onto the outside living areas as well.
The home was rebuilt using traditional finishes, and detailing typical of a California beach cottage, giving the clients the true escape they were looking for.
